The Islamic Intimidation of America Has Begun

Remember those six imams who were escorted off a plane because of their bizarre behavior? Does everyone remember that these supposed Islamic holy men were moving around the plane, taking up the same positions as the 9/11 highjackers? Have people forgotten that these men, none of whom appeared overweight, requested seat-belt extensions which they reportedly rolled up and placed under their seats? Have these men explained why they had very little luggage and one way tickets? Has anyone explained to them that praising bin Laden and Saddam Hussein might make their fellow travelers uncomfortable?

The simple fact seems to be that the actions of these imams were carefully planned in advance for maximum effect knowing they would be taken off the plane. There can be no other logical explanation for their behavior. When the loud praying to Allah and praising of Saddam and condemnation of President Bush in the airport wasn’t enough, they boarded the plane and their actions became even stranger. These men were pushing limits to see how much they could do before someone stopped them.

These six imams were returning from a conference where Muslims were meeting to find ways to improve the Islamic image in America. Perhaps they missed the main speakers. It is unlikely that acting like the 9/11 killers of 3000 people on an airplane was the suggested course of action.

Shortly after the imams were removed from the plane, the Council on American/Islamic Relations (CAIR) was at their sides demanding an apology from the airline. The airlines answer was a resounding, “No.” In fact, the imams were instructed to never buy a ticket on one of their planes again. Stunned by the lack of sympathy, even from most of their friends on the left, the six imams and CAIR retreated to regroup and let some time pass so that people would forget the facts in the case. In fact, CAIR has let four months pass, but that was not enough. We still remember what happened.

CAIR states that imams are harmless, kind, and gentle men who never hurt anyone. Perhaps not. What many imams do is instruct others to do the dirty work on their orders. They foment the hate in the mosque and then sit back and try to look innocent.

But how innocent are these imams? Omar Shahin, the spokesman and one of the six offended imams, comforted two of his students who were arrested mid-flight for attempting to enter the cockpit uninvited, not once, but twice. This was pre-9/11 and in hindsight, the authorities now feel this was a exploratory run to find out what would happen if a passenger tried to enter the cockpit. How would the pilots react? How would the passengers and crew react? Omar Shahin has openly admitted he supported bin Laden in his Saudi, Wahhabi sect supported mosque in Tucson, Arizona. With his support of the two Muslim cockpit probers, one has to wonder if this “peaceful” imam had any knowledge of a coming attack. Did Shahin ask the two young Muslim men why they were trying to enter the cockpit and why was he so sympathetic and outraged when they were arrested? Anyone making such an attempt would have met the same fate.

Probably surprised by the lack of support, despite their protests, CAIR needed time to re-evaluate the imams situation. Making the American people kowtow to Islam has not proven to be as easy as it has been in Europe. There, childhood stories are being changed so that no Muslim is offended by the words, “Three Little Pigs.” But here, while the media shies away from even mentioning that a Muslim has gone on a rampage and shot people, or run people over with his car while shouting “God is Great,” the people have not been so agreeable. More intimidation is necessary.

So, let the lawsuits begin. CAIR and the six imams have filed suits not just against U. S. Airways, the supposed offending airline, but against each and every passenger who dared report their suspicions to the authorities. After all, CAIR doesn’t want Americans watching for people like Richard the Shoe-bomber who was soundly thumped by fellow passengers as he tried to light the chemicals in his shoes. Poor Richard. He was much like the two students sent to test cockpit doors. They were just expendable idiots sent to test the system. They probably had little knowledge other than their personal marching orders which they tried to the best of their abilities to carry out. If they ended up dead or in prison, it was no great loss to Islam. There are thousands waiting for their chance and answer the summons of their local imam. There was no opportunity for CAIR to sue anyone for stopping a Muslim in the process of attempting to blow up a plane in-flight.

Obviously, Richard didn’t get much sympathy from the public considering that he was caught, red-footed trying to blow up the plane. No, CAIR knew it could not charge bigotry or racism in the case of the shoe-bomber.

Enter six innocent, kind, and gentle imams who are on their way home from, of all things, a meeting with other Muslims and their only hope was to show Americans how peaceful Islam and Muslims really are. Six imams whose leader has dubious connections to al Qaeda and seems to survive on money sent by the violent Wahhabi followers in Saudi Arabia.

Six imams who boarded a plane, made strange requests for seat-belt extensions with a heavy metal buckle on one end when they didn’t need them. Six imams who moved about the plane taking up seats by the exits, just as the 9/11 highjackers had done. Two of them apparently ended up in first class, near the cockpit, though they did not have first class tickets. When asked to return their seats, it was reported that they refused.

So far, U.S. Airways is standing by its decision to remove the imams from the plane. While most cave in at the threat of a lawsuit, this particular case would be most interesting to hear in a court of law. The passengers involved should ban together and hire a single attorney and then go public asking for financial assistance, not only to pay the attorney, but for a private investigator to check out these six “peace-loving and patriotic” imams who preach every week to many American Muslims. There is little doubt that they would have more money then they would ever need. Since CAIR insists on opening the door, we should go through it.

Where do these imams get their funding? Who have they associated with? What groups are they affiliated with? Have they condemned bin Laden and Islamic terrorists?

Americans must stand up to CAIR and its constant intimidation of American businesses and citizens. CAIR has a pattern of threatening anyone who speaks out against Islam while remaining silent on the matter of Islamic oppression in every Islamic country in the world.

CAIR has a stated mission: To replace the American Constitution with the Quran. Knowing Islam will never accomplish this militarily, it will try to conquer from within using the courts and intimidation. This cannot be allowed. Cabbies in Minnesota will not dictate to their employers who they will pick up and CAIR will not dictate to passengers on planes who they should report for suspicious behavior.

Bring this case to trial and put it on television for all to see. Let’s find out if these poor, downtrodden imams really are “peaceful and patriotic.”
