Why should American seniors, many of whom thought this massive health care bill would help them, have their wills up to date?  Because once all the little (and unmentioned) sections of this abomination go into effect, seniors will become persona non grata in America.  Put in simple English, “You old people out there, please just die because you are costing us too much money.”  If you are unwilling to die, your government will assist you.

        But Obama just loves the old folks and he has assured them of this, over and over.  One thing people must realize and realize soon is that Obama lies.  He and his progressive accomplices are enacting Medicare cuts to hospitals and rehabilitation facilities this year.   Hospitals already struggling to survive will be told that they will receive even less for every Medicare patient they accept as patients.  If you break a hip (and can find a doctor that will accept Medicare to fix it and a hospital that will accept you) you will need a few weeks of physical therapy to get back on your feet.  Since rehabilitation facilities will now get even less money for your rehab, many will close (causing more unemployment) or just refuse Medicare patients.  Yes, it is still legal for them to refuse a patient. 

         Not to worry, you may think.   I will just get my rehabilitation at home, using a home care therapist.  Think again, my old friends.  Home care services for therapy and nursing care are also being cut. 

         Starting to feel like you have a bulls-eye on your back if you are over 62?  You should, because you do. 

          But Nancy Pelosi just turned 70!  Surely she would not cut her own benefits.  Of course, she wouldn’t.  These cuts are only for the lowly masses like you and me.  Ms. Pelosi and her other progressive friends made very sure that they will continue to be covered by their Rolls Royce plan offered only to members of Congress.  Republicans tried to get a bill passed that all members of Congress and government employees had to use the bill that would be passed like everyone else, but progressive quickly voted that down.  Have the same inferior health care that the peons will have?  There was not a chance Ms. Pelosi would accept that.  Keep in mind, this is the same woman who spends thousands of tax-payer dollars every week to keep her office furnished with fresh flowers and spends hundreds of thousand of tax-payer dollars to jet herself and her family and friends around the country.  Why should she care what kind of health care YOU, the common man, get?

        Does Mom or Dad have a mental health issue?  Learn to deal with it at home because Obama has cut in-patient reimbursement for psychiatric care as well.  You didn’t know that?  You didn’t expect the progressives to actually tell you, did you? 

        How about nursing homes?  They are not spared either and will take reductions that may well be retroactive to 2009 and then again in 2011.  Are you starting to get the big picture here?  NO OLD PEOPLE ALLOWED IN AMERICA. 

        Are you having terrible headaches and your doctor can’t find a cause?  It could be a brain tumor or an impending stroke but don’t actually think you will automatically have a CAT scan or MRI to find out.  This year SENIORS will have reimbursement cuts to ALL diagnostic imaging tests.  Not Medicaid patients who are usually younger, but SENIORS are specifically targeted.

        Also being cut for seniors is:  All diagnostic lab work, medical durable supplies like walkers and wheelchairs, and ambulance service. 

        Still think Obama is the messiah?  He is just getting started.  Of course, on the bright side, you won’t have to worry about that dead-beat grandson who is still living in Mom and Dad’s basement playing video games.  He will covered until he is 26 now.  What a relief that is. 

         No middle-class tax increases?  You didn’t buy that whopper did you?  All working men and women will now have more money taken out of their already picked-clean paychecks in the form of a “long-term-care tax.”  That is just tip of the iceberg.  

         Need an electric wheelchair?  You can have one if you are rich enough to buy one or rent one because seniors are now prohibited  (the exact word) from getting one through Medicare without renting one for 13 months first.  The dead-beat grandson or illegal alien can get one, but not seniors on Medicare. 

         Having problems with your kidneys?  Anyone on dialysis needs to be doubly sure the will is up to date.  In 2011, Medicare cuts for any senior receiving dialysis will take effect.  What will happen?  Rationing.  Because dialysis centers will be getting less for Medicare patients, they will begin to weed them out in favor of younger patients where the reimbursement will be more.  They won’t do this because they hate seniors but because they will be forced to, just to survive and stay open at all. 

         Surely seniors will be rejoicing that community centers will be receiving huge increases in federal money.  They will need it for all those abortions they will be paying for, with taxpayer money.  Osama’s “executive order” isn’t worth the paper it is written on and he knows it.  It was cover for the congressman from Michigan who really changed his vote in exchange for millions of dollars for airports in his district. 

         Is Hospice spared?  Surely that would be since the progressives want the elderly to die and die quickly.  But no, it isn’t.  Hospice will be cut in 2012, just after they cut the hospitals, rehab centers, and nursing homes--again. 

         Getting excited yet?  In 2013, progressives target hospitals who provide care to LOW INCOME SENIORS.   Don’t treat those people!  Let them die at home or in the streets, we don’t care but we will no longer pay you to take them in and treat them.

          But America’s elderly should rejoice.  Illegal aliens are covered.  Dead-beat 26-year-olds are covered.  Abortions will be covered, make no mistake about that. 

           The results of all this?  American elderly are being kicked to the curb, slowly, so that they won’t notice it.   People will be forced to buy health insurance or pay a fine of over $695 or 2.5% of their income as punishment.  Anyone who is over-weight, or smokes, or does anything the government doesn’t like will be punished. 

            Perhaps Rep. John Dingell (D-Mich.) said it best:  “This has been going on for years……it takes a long time to do the necessary administrative steps that have to be taken to put the legislation together to control the people.”  Rep. Dingell tried to take back his words the next day saying he was “tired.”  The truth has a habit of slipping out when you are tired.

          Yes, it has taken a long time.  Progressives have been trying to take control of every aspect of Americans lives since Franklin D. Roosevelt.  That’s a long time but they never gave up.  The progressives are destroying the country so they can rebuild it in their image.

          Americans have to act now to save the country we know and love.  If you want to be “controlled” and dictated to, by all means, do nothing.  If you want your grandchildren to live in a free and economically stable country, start fighting now because time is all we have left and we have very little of that.
