In front of what appeared to be a sparse crowd at the United Nations,
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad started his speech with a short
prayer that only those who have paid attention to this man, and educated
themselves about Islam, would have noticed. He prayed to the Imam
Muhammad al-Mahdi. Most people don’t even know who this Imam is, or was,
nor do they care, but they should. The Imam al-Mahdi is the "hidden"
Imam, honored and revered by Shia Muslims all over the world.
According to the teachings of the Shia sect of Islam, this "hidden" Imam will return to lead the forces of good against the forces of evil in the final battle--which Christians call Armageddon. However, in the Shia Muslim books, anyone who is not Muslim is part of the "forces of evil." According to people such as Ahmadinejad, this most holy imam will only be seen by "humans" and non-humans, who cannot see him, will be slain by him and his followers to bring the world into a perfect existence. So, it is most important that people understand the significance of the Iranian president’s statement. He prayed for al-Mahdi’s coming and has predicted that the imam will come soon.Very often during his speech, Ahmadinejad referred to "humans" rather than "people." This is important if you understand that Muslims in general are taught that non-believers (non-Muslims) are not human. Radical Muslims like Ahmadinejad believe it. Those who do not follow the oppressive teachings of Islam are considered descendants of "monkeys and pigs," and thus, not human. "Humans" will bring peace to the world, and "humans" will rid the world of war and crime and the "humans" left alive will know constant bliss. Those listening to the Iranian president’s speech need to realize that he is referring to after radical Islam has slaughtered all the "non-humans" in the final conflagration, led by their beloved hidden Imam al-Mahdi. This speech at the United Nations was full of religious references as Ahmadinejad warned people that they must "change" and embrace the monolithic God’s beliefs. What was unspoken was that Ahmadinejad was only considering Islam’s monolithic God, Allah, and no other. The world must embrace Islam because he believes only when that is accomplished, will there be peace under the total domination Islam. The Iranian leaders seem convinced that it is Iran’s destiny to trigger the coming the hidden imam. Hearing this man speak of peace and love and tolerance should have brought uproarious laughter, because he believes in none of those things. Under Ahmadinejad’s presidency, women have been stoned to death for being raped and daring to seek legal assistance, boys have been hung for being gay, and men can divorce their wives and turn them into the street by just saying the words, "I divorce you." The law basically stating that women have no rights can be found in Article 105 of the Iranian Civil Code. According to another Iranian law, Article 1041 of the Civil Code, girls over the age of nine can be sold off as wives to anyone the father or male guardian sees fit. Women are nothing more then property. For the Iranian president to stand before the world body and expect listeners to believe that women are "respected" and "revered" in his country (or any Islamic country) should have had the listeners staring at him in shock. Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, considered a moderate in Iran by most of the western world, had this to say about women: "Justice does not mean that all laws must be the same for men and women... The difference in the stature, vitality, voice, development, muscular quality, and physical strength of men and women shows that men are stronger and more capable in all fields... Men’s brains are larger... Men incline toward reasoning and rationalism while women basically tend to be emotional. These differences affect the delegation of responsibilities, duties and rights." When speaking at Columbia University, Ahmadinejad produced his best mystified look when asked about homosexuals in Iran and then made a statement that belongs in "Ripley’s Believe It or Not." He stated that this "phenomenon" didn’t exist in Iran. With a straight face he stated, " In Iran we do not have this phenomenon. I don’t know who’s told you we have this." The students found this amusing and laughter soon erupted, followed by a spattering of boos. Being gay in Iran is not a laughing matter. If someone is "outed" he has a high risk of being hung and his death decree will be signed by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as it is reported at least 400 others have been. Yet, how easily he lied about it. Various Iranian governments have lied about their nuclear program for over twenty years. When asked direct questions about his numerous declarations that Israel must be destroyed, Ahmadinejad deflected the question as he always does by answering with a question. In fact, some industrious person listened to the question and answer session at Columbia and found that Ahmadinejad answered with more questions then he was asked and never did give a concrete answer to anything he was asked. There should be no doubt that this man is a pathological liar. He stood there and declared that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) had declared Iran’s nuclear program peaceful. It has not. But this was a calculated risk on Ahmadinejad’s part. He knows there are enough ill-informed people to put questions in the minds of gullible Americans. If he could look sympathetic and appear to be nothing more than a peace-loving and kind man who reveres women and kisses his mother’s hand every day, he will have succeeded. This is a far cry from the man he really is. This is a man who was identified as the cruelest of the guards by our embassy personnel who were taken hostage in the 1970s. He is a man who convinced children that Allah would consider them martyrs if they were killed clearing a mine field for Iranian soldiers during the Iran-Iraq war. He is the man who has allowed women to be stoned to death and sentenced gay men to death for the "crime" of being homosexuals. He is a man who happily serves at the end of strings held by the real power in Iran--the Mullahs. In Ahmadinejad’s world, it is proper that the religious leaders have the power. In Islam, the religious leader are the political powers as well. There is no distinction between them and no separation of church and state. Islam IS the state and the ultimate power. Americans must realize that Iran is not just a threat to Israel, but to the world. Just before leaving Iran to come to America, Ahmadinejad gave a speech in front of a sign that said, "Death to America." Then he comes here and tells us how he loves the American people. He claims he only hates American policy, not the people. This is also a lie. To Ahmadinejad and all of radical Islam, America is a country full of Christian "non-humans" who will bend to the will of Islam or die. We will only be elevated to human status if we accept Islam and change our evil ways, forsake any form of democracy, burn the American Constitution, and without question, embrace Islam. As he smiled and looked humble in his ill-fitting suit, Ahmadinejad told lie after lie, knowing the liberal American media and the liberal media around the world would see him as pious leader whose country is being bullied by a super-power. How embarrassing it must have been when it sounded as though the Iranian president wrote his speeches based on press releases from the Democratic National Committee and columns from The New York Times. We are told that Iran has no plans to obtain nuclear weapons which it will use to destroy Israel as a gift to the hidden Imam Muhammad al-Mahdi. No, pay no attention to the Mullahs behind the curtain, pulling the strings, leading the world to a nuclear holocaust. After all, would "cultured humans" do such a thing? Ahmadinejad says no, but then, we all know he lies. |
